Paul Pardon joins the Tingdene team

27 July 2018

Tingdene Boat Sales is pleased to announce that Paul Pardon has joined its team as Sales Consultant, based at Broadlands Marina on Oulton Broad in Lowestoft, Suffolk and Brundall Bay Marina in Norfolk. He has been appointed to represent Tingdene’s fast growing range of activities selling Italian Cranchi sports cruisers and motor yachts, and to develop the brokerage facilities at Broadlands Marina as this facility expands.

Paul is a hugely familiar and well respected character in the UK motor boating scene. He served his apprenticeship with Broom Boats and then worked with Colin Chapman of Lotus fame in the development of the cutting edge Moonraker range. He returned to Broom Boats and rose through the ranks there to become, for many, the face of the Norfolk boat builder at shows and events across the UK and further afield, before retiring as its sales manager. However, the desire to stay involved never went away, as Paul explains: "Neil Mallandain approached me to forget retirement plans and work as a consultant for Tingdene Boat Sales. Having worked closely with Neil and the team during my Broom days, it was an easy decision. I love the marine business and I’ve been involved with boating most of my life, so it’s nice to be able to reconnect with many customers and friends in the industry.”

Neil Mallandain, Sales Director for Tingdene Boat Sales, said: "I’m personally pleased to welcome Paul onto the team, having seen at first hand for many years how much he influenced all the many good things that happened at Broom Boats. His wealth of experience and passion for boats and the people who use them is second to none. We’ll very much enjoy working with him as he helps us to grow our presence on the East Coast, an often under-estimated but highly valued boating region that is very well served by our marinas at Brundall Bay and Broadlands Marina.
