Tingdene Boat Sales is pleased to announce that it has been appointed as the Thames dealer for the Glastron range of sportsboats, sportscruisers and bowriders.
Glastron is one of the most iconic motorboat brands of all time – the company has been building boats for over 60 years and its classic GT models in the 1960s and 70s were the boats to be seen in. Today's models take design clues from that classic era, but blended with the very latest hull designs, engines, fit out and clever modern detailing to provide great pleasure of ownership today.
Tingdene's summer full of activities keeps on rolling this coming weekend, 8-9 July at Upton Marina where you'll be able to view a wide range of new and pre-owned boats for sale including the Viking 215, Viking 26CC, Broom 370 and Broom 30HT Coupe.

Tingdene Boat Sales is delighted to be able to announce the appointment of Olly Wylie as its boat sales executive for the busy Upton Marina boat sales office.
Olly is no stranger to the River Severn. Following graduation studying digital lens media at university he fulfilled a keen interest in boats, kindled by his keen sailing father and holidays in Scotland, by becoming a harbourmaster for three years and then a qualified broker for a similar period of time. He is an elected member of the Association of Brokers and Yacht Agents (ABYA) and joined Tingdene at the beginning of this month.
So, after months of anticipation, the first fruit of the exciting new collaboration between two British boatbuilders has emerged. Tyler Broom narrowboats combine Tyler Wilson's remarkably fine steelwork craftsmanship with Broom Boat's core boatbuilding and engineering skills. With interior layouts designed by Broom and materials hand-picked to create a high quality contemporary finish, Tyler Broom narrowboats will bring a welcome new twist to the UK's inland cruising scene.

Not content with having one of the largest boat sales networks in the UK and following hard on the heels of its highly successful Thames Used Boat Show over Easter, Tingdene Boat Sales has announced its biggest yet programme of attendance at boat shows and open weekends.
Depending on the event we'll be showing boats from Broom, Viking, DaVinci, Tyler Broom, Admiral, Bavaria and Antaris. Plus details of our extensive range of pre-owned motor yachts, narrowboats, barges, river cruisers, sportsboats, bow riders and day boats. And of course you'll get to meet with familiar faces from our highly experienced boat sales team.
The programme includes six boat shows across the country, on the coast and inland, a series of open weekends at several of Tingdene's marinas, plus a series of appearances at Henley's top events on the Thames during June and July.

Following the announcement last September that Tingdene Boat Sales has been appointed the UK exclusive representative for DaVinci Yachts from the Netherlands, it launched a brand new DaVinci 30 at Thames & Kennet Marina last week, to mark the first of this highly attractive range to enter UK waters. It also announced plans for a diesel shartdrive version of this Vripack designed bespoke open cockpit cruiser.
At a time when many narrowboat builders have moved production out of the UK to deal with rising costs, Tyler Wilson has fervently stuck to its principles of British-built hulls using only the best quality steel. Equally, Broom Boats has a long heritage of building hand-crafted boats from its base in Norfolk and is famous for its uncompromising quality. This partnership of two of the most renowned British boatbulders is a celebration of the skills held in the British marine industry and a commitment to creating something truly special.
