Broom and Glastron at the Thames Traditional Boat Festival

13 July 2017

Stuck for something to do this weekend? Then do pop along to the Thames Traditional Boat Festival, which is one of the largest events of its type anywhere in the world. Featured boats include Gloriana - the Jubilee Royal Rowbarge, CMB9 - the Royal Navy's oldest surviving motor torpedo boat and Scolopendra - the sole survivor of the 1903 Harmsworth Trophy Race. Plus a whole fleet of other vintage and classic boats, Dunkirk Little Ships, military vehicles and much besides.

Broom 30 CoupeTingdene Boat Sales, along with British Marine Thames Valley and other member companies, will feature a starter boat showcase, try-a-boat experiences and sailing and kayak simulators. Joining the try-a-boat fleet for this event is the Broom 30 Coupe (pictured), one of the latest models born of a 120-year-old heritage at Broom Boats. We are also planning to take along our new demonstrator Glastron GS259 - the very latest sportscruiser from this 60-year-old marque.

The Thames Traditional Boat Festival is held on Fawley Meadow near Henley-on-Thames. The public car park is free and entry tickets can be obtained at a discount online.

Do please email us or call 01933 449090 if you intend visiting – we'll be pleased to make specific arrangements to meet you, show you the TylerBroom and Broom Boats on display and also discuss all of the other pre-owned boats and new boat ranges that we represent.
